In the face of adversity, some people just dance regardless of the circumstances.

The Holy Family community was privileged to host the Dancing Wheels Company on Tuesday, March 9th. The dance company and school from Cleveland, OH is America's 1st physically integrated dance company founded in 1980.

Students, Faculty, staff, and outside guests gathered in Holy Family's gym during lunch and were awed by the beauty and the power in the dancers' movements. Even though not all the performers are disabled, the courage and spirit of all the performers was so uplifting!

The dancers also use their work to share their stories and to serve as advocates for the disabled. The crowd learned about spinal cord injuries, the levels of paralysis, as well as everyday tasks that become obstacles, such as stove-top cooking, laundry, etc.

The dancers performed for one hour and truly showed that the human body has no limitations. It was enjoyed by all!

Special thanks to Jisha Mathai '10 and Disability Services for sponsoring such a wonderful event!
