The Center for Academic Enhancement celebrated its annual Open House for Holy Family University on February 22, 2010. Not only did the CAE provide light refreshments for everyone, but also, they gave a description about the organization for some people interested. A few students said their opinions about the CAE and its Open House.

Bridget Bowne, Class of '13, commented, "I thought the Open House was really helpful because it gave unsure people about the CAE what they needed to know. For me, it let me know that I can go get help in the things I need and not think about asking for help. I thought it was a good idea, and I think that there should be more Open Houses so people know that they are available most of the time."

Not all students had the opportunity to stay long at the Open House.

Anna Tran, Class of '13, said, "It was a very good experience for my brief time. If I stayed a little longer, I would have been able to connect and talk to the students and teachers who tutor there. They would have made me feel really comfortable so that I won't hesitate to go to the CAE, learn, and get tutored on my subjects."

Some people think that only unintelligent people go to the CAE. That is not true! Everyone is intelligent in his or her own unique way. Sometimes, the brightest student comes by to the CAE and checks if he or she is correct on a problem. Everyone doubts on his or her own answers. CAE is there for everyone. It is open on Mondays-Fridays. The people at CAE are glad to help everyone out. As Sarah Caldwell once said, "Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can - there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did."
