Holy Family prepares for Green Week

The Environmental Club and the Committee on the Environment are happy to provide the Holy Family community with a sneak-peek of the upcoming events for Green Week, which will be held February 22 to February 25 on the Northeast Philadelphia campus.
Monday, February 22 - "Recycle a Good Read."
Buy, donate, and trade books. All proceeds will go to the Holy Family library.
Tuesday, February 23 - Green Trivia
Pay attention to e-mail, the Holy Family website, and TV screens around campus for Green Facts. All trivia questions will be based off of this information.
Wednesday, February 24 - Special Presentation
Marj Eby, from Leave No Trace, an educational, non-profit organization, will give a presentation and workshop in the John M. Perzel Education and Technology Center about stewardship of the environment.
Thursday, February 25 - Veggie Cook-off and Water Taste Test
Sponsored by the Psyche and Environmental Clubs, staff and students will be invited to snack on delicious vegetables as well as try their skills at discerning the difference between different types of water.
Also, during the course of the week, orders will be taken for those who wish to place orders for stainless steel water bottles (a healthy and eco-friendly alternative to plastic bottles) as well as purchase an assortment of herbs planted in repurposed plastic containers.
