January 18, 2010 marked the 15th Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service, with more than 70,000 volunteers, including Governor Rendell and Mayor Nutter, as well as 1,100 projects in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Holy Family University students, staff and faculty left from the Campus Center together to paint hallways of the Norris Square Civic Association Children's Center for a half-day.
Participants were treated to breakfast, excused from morning classes, and profusely thanked by the Civic Association staff for their help in beautifying the children's facility.
Many thanks to all who participated, and for those who missed the event, we hope to add your name, next year.
