Stop Tightening; Loosen that Worn-Belt
Save Some Cash!

• Roll out of bed early -- Matinees before noon at AMC Theaters cost $5 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and it even includes new movies! Just sneak in those Mike & Ikes and sodas, and you're set!
• Cancel all credit cards -- Credit cards are hurting as much as you are, so guess what? APRs are rising, and as a consumer, you cannot do a thing about it. Plus, with access to a credit card, you might get tempted to put an unneeded item on it. No reason to spend more money than you can afford.
• Put that spare change into a jar -- Since you cancelled all those credit cards, you'll be paying in cash. Spare change weighs too much anyway, so just place it in a jar. When it's filled, carry it to your bank, and use the free coin counting machine. Instant cash!
• Walk -- It's easier to hop in the car and drive to your destination, but gas can empty your wallet. Instead, walk to those close places. It has a dual purpose - save on gas and get some exercise!
So, no more $4 shampoo for me; I have coupons. Ten dollar movies are a thing of the past. I can get admittance, plus popcorn for $8. I will never pay that much for jeans, again, if I can get them on clearance two months later. Those days of $40 dinners are gone forever. Why spend $40 when I only need to buy one dinner and get that second entrée for free?
Despite the economy crisis, there are still ways to treat yourself to all the things you
once enjoyed; just keep an eye out for the deals.

There are always some deals for things that you need or want, it's just a matter of finding them. Another tip is to check out prices online. You can often find things online for cheaper than they are sold at the store, even after adding shipping charges. (Continued…)
