Only a mere five minutes away from Holy Family University's Northeast campus is a small place to eat that boasts not only the great scenery of the Delaware River, but also great food, great drinks, and a great time! I'm talking about 'Maggie's Waterfront Cafe! With a new outside patio to relax and eat on, this is definitely an ideal spot to be on those lovely summer nights!

I had the pleasure of eating there with my family back in March and everything was delicious! They have a smaller menu with more 'pub styled food selections but what they make, they make very well! On that night that we ate there, my family and I ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer, and French onion soup. For our entrees, my parents both ordered the BLCT (Bacon, Lettuce, Crab cake, and Tomato) Wrap and I ordered a custom made cheeseburger-because you can always tell a good restaurant by a good burger! We had no complaints, except that we were all full! The best part of all was that the bill wasn't too bad and the place wasn't too crowded because it only opened recently.

Maggie's also has a large selection of beers and mixed drinks, and they have daily specials and a good happy hour. They're opened seven days a week and more information can be found on their website, www.maggieswaterfront.com. Bon Appétit!
