An Editorial Inspired by Haiti

Originally, this space was going to be reserved for a short article about the different New Year's resolutions staff and students have made and their plans for sticking to them. The topic was meant to be lighthearted and fun, but the recent events in Haiti have hit me at such a personal level, I can't bring myself to write about such a lighthearted topic.

In the past few weeks, there have been many signs that my time here at Holy Family is quickly coming to an end. Sooner then I care to mention, it will be May and I'll be walking to receive my diploma. If that isn't a scary thought, I don't know what is. I mean for the past 17 years I've been going to some sort of school, doing project, taking tests, studying into the early morning.
